Felipe Padilla de León  (May 1, 1912 – December 5, 1992) was a Filipino Romantical music composer, conductor, and scholar. He was known for composing different sonatas, marches and concertos that reflect the Filipino identity. [ 3 ] De Leon was also recognized as a composer who experienced different regime change throughout the course of his lifetime. [ 4 ]  From the  Commonwealth period  up to the presidency of  Ferdinand Marcos , [ 4 ]  his music became a representation of Filipino ideals and aspirations throughout the ages of Philippine history. Antonino Ramirez Buenaventura  (May 4, 1904 – January 25, 1996) [ 1 ]  was a  Filipino   composer ,  conductor , and teacher. Biography Antonino Buenaventura was born on May 4, 1904, in  Baliuag ,  Bulacan . He was born in a family of musicians; his father Lucino Buenaventura was a musician at the Spanish Artillery Band in Intramuros. He studied under  Nicanor Abelardo  at the  University of the Philippines Diliman  Conservatory of Music and graduated in 1932 with a Teacher's Diploma in Music, major in Science and Composition and became an assistant instructor at the Conservatory. Lucio Diestro San Pedro, Sr.  (February 11, 1913 – March 31, 2002) was a Filipino composer and teacher who was proclaimed a  National Artist of the Philippines  for Music in 1991. [ 3 ]  Today, he is remembered for his contribution to the development of Filipino regional band music [ 4 ]  and for his well-known compositions such as the Filipino lullaby, " Sa Ugoy ng Duyan " and the symphonic poem, "Lahing Kayumanggi". Lucrecia Roces Kasilag  (31 August 1918 – 16 August 2008) [ 1 ]  was a  Filipino  composer and pianist. She is particularly known for incorporating indigenous Filipino instruments into orchestral productions. Honorata de la Rama-Hernandez  (January 11, 1902 – July 11, 1991), commonly known as  Atang de la Rama , was a singer and  bodabil  performer who became the first  Filipina  film actress. [ 2 ] Atang de la Rama was born in  Pandacan, Manila  on January 11, 1902. By the age of 7, she was already starring in Spanish  zarzuelas  such as  Mascota ,  Sueño de un Vals , and  Marina . At the age of 15, she starred in the sarsuela  Dalagang Bukid , where she became known for singing the song "Nabasag na Banga". Jovita Flores Fuentes  (February 15, 1895 – August 7, 1978) was a Filipina soprano singer. She was known to be the first Filipina to receive recognition as a  National Artist for Music  in 1976 and one of the few Filipinas to receive international acclaim in the European opera scene. So eto na. Actually matagal ko nang pangarap pamunuan na magtatag ng award giving body. Wala akong sources. Hindi ko alam kung ano rin ang gagawin ko. Kung may tutulong man sa akin, salamat. Pero mas gusto ko na solohin na lang itong award na ito. Lalo na nickname ko ang nakasalalay dito. Sa pag-antabay ko sa Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, etc. Sa TV nariyan ang PMPC Star Awards for Television at iba pa. Sa pelikula naman ay MMFF Awards, FAMAS at Urian kaya naisipan ko na maglunsad para sa sarili ng ganitong award. Sa tatlong ito, mahina ako sa film kasi di ako aware masyado sa mga pelikula. Hindi naman kasi lahat ng pelikula napapanood ko. Kahit sa music medyo hirap din ako. I-like niyo po ang fb page na ito. Yung mga mahilig sa award paki-like itong page para masuportahan niyo ito. Antonio Jesús Naguiat Molina  (December 26, 1894 – January 29, 1980) was a  Filipino  composer, conductor and music administrator. He was named a  National Artist of the Philippines  for his services to music. He was also known as the " Claude Debussy " of the Philippines due to his use of  impressionist  themes in music. [ 3 ] As a pioneer of the Philippine classical music scene, he led the  first nationalistic movement in Philippine music . [ 4 ] Early life Molina was born on December 26, 1894, in  Quiapo ,  Manila , the son of Juan Molina, a government official, who founded the Molina Orchestra.
